Greeting

 On behalf of all members of the Korean Society for Bioinformatics (KSBI) and the organizing committee of BIOINFO 2022, we would like to thank all of you for your active participation and support to our biggest annual event. Your participations are especially appreciated because we all know that you risk your personal safety in this difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizing committee of BIOINFO 2022 has made every effort to ensure the personal safety of attendants. We also like to express our gratitude to all session chairs and speakers who undoubtedly make this three-day conference a great success by sharing and promoting the state-of-the-art advances in many bioinformatics research areas. In particular, we are grateful to the members of the BIOINFO 2022 program committee whose unwavering efforts have made the conference a memorable event by ensuring the presentations and contents to meet a high academic standard.

 Two prominent scientists, Prof. John Quackenbush of Harvard School of Public Health and Prof. Kwang-Hyun Cho of KAIST, are invited as Keynote Speakers. In addition to the main scientific sessions including clinical bioinformatics, disease informatics, multi-omics data integration, genome informatics, RNA informatics and AI-supported drug development, we have several special sessions such as education session, KOBIC Bio Big Data, IP strategy in bioinformatics, and Pharmcolab. We wish you an enjoyable and productive time at the BIOINFO 2022 and look forward to your participation, networking and active discussions in the conference sessions.
